At the age of 4, I learned to ride and started out as a BMX racer. My parents helped run the local track and supported me as I developed. In 2007 I joined FCS, where I was new to road cycling. I met and was mentored by some great people in the cycling community, which allowed me to train hard and improve. During this time I was able to secure a cycling scholarship at Lindenwood University where I graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Studio Art. Concurrent with going to school I became the manager of the women’s FCS Cycling Team, a position that I have held for a few years. Working behind the scenes, I work on the logistics for the team, with whatever needs to be done. All the hard effort is worth is when we see the girls smiling on the podium at some of the biggest races in the U.S.

This team is my family, although we lose some members and get new ones other times, I do it for them. I am excited about 2015, women’s cycling is growing and getting more recognition, and so is our team. I’m excited for bigger things to come!
